When life throws you a terrible curve ball, it’s hard to imagine that you’ll ever find peace let alone forgiveness. The Bible tells us over and over how important forgiveness is to our relationship with him. Why is this so important? First of all, not forgiving is like getting up and drinking poison only to hope the other person dies. That’s not how it works. In the attached article by Hopkins Medicine (https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/forgiveness-your-health-depends-on-it), the effects of unforgiveness can lead to serious health problems. It can also affect your prayer life and walk with the Lord. Let’s take a deeper look at what scripture tells us.
